A mostly Hi Fi cosmetics look...

So today I wanted to use some of my Hi Fi that I haven't used in awhile.  I am trying to do some looks with more than 3 colors.  It takes so much time but I made time today....So here is what i did...

Eyes
UD primer
lower lid Fyrinnae pixy epoxy
inner corner of lid Hi Fi Fallen Angels
middle lid Hi Fi Slime and Snails
outer lid Hi Fi Down in the Underground
crease Hi Fi Lyrical Master
went back over the crease with Hi Fi Rock & Roll
outer crease Aromaleigh Freakshow
I used Fyrinnae French Vanilla Shake for blending
Under browbone I used Aromaleigh Zabaglione
I blended like crazy
liner upper UD Zero
lower lash line Down in the Underground and inner Zabaglione
Dior Black mascara

Face
Lancome matte foundation
Set with Rice Powder
blush Mac on a mission
Dior bronzing powder

Lips
lip moisturizer
Prophesy lipstick by Illamasqua
Little of Mac lady gaga on top
just a touch of Hi Fi only forever lip glaze

I think I got it all....I really love how the pixy epoxy holds the pigments.  It lets the real colors come thru. Very pleased with this today....I hope everyone enjoys their day today...Cold and windy here...Yuck!!

Sunday look

I have not had a whole lot of time to play with makeup lately....at least do any more detailed looks so today I thought I would try.  I used Mad Minerals for this look.  I have not used them in a long time and actually the pigments are pretty good.  I am happy with how this turned out.  Need to get back out there and practice some more!!!!!

Eyes
UD primer potion
Nyx jumbo pencil in milk on lower lid
Inner corner of eye Mad Minerals in wedding
Middle of lid I used Mad Wild Life
Outer lid Mad Illegal
Crease Mad Choc Razz
Above crease I used a pink by Mac Sushi Flower
Blended out with Fyrinnae French Vanilla Shake
Highlight is Aromaleigh ellette
Lined upper lash line with Mac greaspaint stick in black
Lined lower lash line with Aromaleigh Velvet Dream and bottom inner corner Mad Wedding
Lined water line with UD Gunmetal liner
Dior Black mascara

Face
Lancome Matte foundation
Set with blue finishing powder
Cheeks I used Mac Mineralize skinfinish in porcelain pink
Went over that with a Mary Kay blush

Lips
Body Shop lemon lip moisturizer
Mac B Babe lipstick
over that Hi Fi only forever lip glaze.

I do believe that does it.  I really like the way the pigments look and they stayed on really well...
Has anyone else tried Mad Minerals in awhile....How do you like them?

Also I ordered the Aromaleigh sample set of Spells....So excited to get this...I love Harry Potter.  Looking forward to the next movie!!!! Hope all is having a great Sunday.....

Youtube inspired look

I haven't had much of an imagination lately so I looked to youtube for some inspiration.  They youtube name is xxsgtigressxx and I think it was called twilight look...Anyway I didn't have all the colors she did so I tweaked it using my own colors....

Eyes
UD primer in Sin
Lid I used Mac Wisteria
Crease Mac Divine Night
Outer lid into outer crease Mac Cloudburst
Highlight a nude color
I then lined my upper lashline with Nyx jumbo pencil in Milk and applied Cloudburst over it
I used UD Zero for waterline which I know noone has seen me do
Under lower lashline I used Sephora green glitter
In corner of eye I applied Mac Gesso
Top and bottom lashes Dior black mascara

Face:
Lancome Matte foundation
Blue Finishing powder to set
Blush Maybelline Pinch o Pink

Lips
Mac lipstick in Angel

Turned out really nice.  I really had to dig for colors but I used stuff I haven't used in awhile.  I did the same look on my 7 year old.  No liner or mascara....just for fun!!

Hope you like and enjoy your weekend!!!

Essence pretty funky

Yesterday I just so happened to go to Ulta probably for the 3rd time in a week....I need a moisturizer for night time and I ended up getting Hope in a jar from Philosophy...stinky stuff but for night time who cares. I have gotten decent results from it before so I wanted to use it again...anyway I ended up looking at makeup...I really love Aromaleigh's tarnished stychnine from the Victoria's revenge collection but it is all sold out so I ended up getting essence eye shadow in pretty funky looks pretty close and it was only 2.99.  Pretty decent to work with too..I only had 3 colors in mind today and ended up with more...So here is my hodge podge of color....

Eyes
Nyx eyeshadow primer
lid Aromaleigh Little craving
crease essence shadow in pretty funky
highlight Aromaleigh Rosina
then i just stared added more.....I used UD uzi for a little more highlight and used UD loaded on outer corner of lid blended into crease a little last call by UD on lid a little pink color from one of my Mac palettes and then I highlighted inner eye with Mac Dazzlelight
Lined upper lash line with UD liner in Zero
Bottom lash line was a little UD Haight and Radium and lower inner bottom lash line was Mac Dazzlelight
Mascara top and bottom Dior in black

The UD colors are from the new Book of Shadows III...really great book of colors...

Face
Pur minerals pressed powder
Cheeks Dior blush in Harmonie
Lightly dusted face with Mac Belightful iridescent pressed powder.  I tried to tap out a lot of the glitter...

Lips
Qtica intense lip repair
Mac viva glam lipstick in Gaga of course...

And there it all is I think....Has anyone else tried the Essence eye shadows?  If so how do you like them?  How about Pur minerals....So far I like it.....
