Thanksgiving

Hope all has a great Holiday...This year my father inlaw is doing the turkey. I do the stuffing because I like to do it from scratch by tearing bread by hand. I am also doing the green bean casserole..Yum...Weather is suppose to be crummy but oh well. I hope to enjoy the holiday. I am also looking forward to the Macy's Thanksgiving day parade. Always have loved it...Happy Thanksgiving to you all!!!!

are you ready for red?

First off I apologize for looking tired. I think I got a total of 3 hrs sleep. Husband got home from work at 12 daughter called at 12:30 and little one was vomiting at 1:30. So I ended up sleeping in the living room in a chair. She is fine and never got sick again...This has been the craziest school year. H1N1, colds, regular flu, head lice (she hasn't gotten that yet) and back on asthma medicine. That is why she has to have the h1n1 shot. Next month she gets the second one. The lines for these things are insane. It went rather quickly but it is overwhelming to see that many people waiting for a vaccination....any way this is the best I can pull off today....

Eyes:
UDPP
Crease Aromaleigh Party Dress
Highlight Aromaleigh Marsh blended down into party dress
Lid Lime Crime Twilight
Blended all these colors very well together
Lined upper lash line with Mac Style Black Grease paint stick and over that I applied young punk. I also use the grease paint stick to do a little bit of the lower water line...
I lined bottom lash line inner with Twilight and outer with Party Dress
Dior Black out mascara

Face:
Meow Pampered Puss Foundation
About Face concealer
Mac On a mission blush
Mac Prep and Prime Finishing Powder

Lips:
went around lip line with concealer
Applied Lime Crime lipstick in Retrofuturist and smooth with a brush

I think I need a heavy duty foundation.....I did try Maybelline Instant Age Rewind foundation. It was on sale for 4.00 at Walgreen's and I have read some great reviews on this....Maybe I just need a flawless mask. Who knows? So thanks for looking and have a fun weekend...

What I got in the lovely mail today....

Ok before any one starts saying mean things to me I will say I like these products and this is my opinion.....I want to share.....

These lovely products I ordered from Lime Crime....I really have been fascinated with her lipsticks and wanted to give them a try. So I ordered the lipstick in Retrofuturist which is red and her eye dust in Twilight which is a purply blues sparkly color...

I love her new packaging and her eye dust comes in a rather big size now. You get a lot of product. I have ordered from Doe in the past. I paid 12.00 each for a couple of shadows. I pay 20.00 for one color in traditional cosmetics sometimes so the price doesn't affect me. If I like the product I will buy it....I will say this time around the eye dust is in a larger jar. There is quite a bit of product in there. I have never had a problem with her and she has always been nice to me.

There was a mix up on my order. I received someone Else's products and I contacted Lime Crime and within 10 minutes I heard back with instructions on what to do and then they gave me a 50% discount on my next order. I thought that was way generous. It was handled in a very cordial manner and very apologetic...No problems....I got my order already....

So anyway...I did try the lipstick. I know you guys know I am not a red wearer. My husband picked it out. I was a little scared but I put it on and I can honestly say it is lovely...The nicest red ever. I will be wearing this alot...My mouth doesn't look like it is saying "look at me" It is a great shade...I am very happy. Tomorrow I will be wearing the eye color and it looks to be lovely......

Has anyone tried this?

Funds are really slim here in my home. My daughter had another accident in her new car which was just fixed from a previous one. This time a deer ran into her car. She didn't hit it it hit her. No seriously...the police verified. So it is still in the shop. We get stuck paying this deductible because she is broke...so are we!!! Vet bill for our horse...Just check up stuff but still expensive and the list continues.....
I ran out of my good face cream. I didn't want to spend 30.00 so when I went to Walgreen's I looked around and found this stuff...Yes to tomatoes facial hydration lotion for oily to combo skin. It claims to be free of parabens and is 99.6% Natural. For 14.95 I jumped on it....
I have to say I really like it. The smell is so amazing that you could eat it. I really like this. It doesn't contain sunscreen but I don't like it in my moisturizer. Makes me too greasy so I use a separate sunscreen. I wanted a lotion to use day and night....So far this fits the bill. Not greasy and oh so nice. I have to learn to cut back. Here is where I started. Now someone name me a great I mean great drugstore mascara. I have to stop spending 20.00 on one....

My Sephora Purchase from last Saturday

My daughter had a birthday party to go to so to kill some time my husband and I went looking around. We went into JCPenney's and in there is a small Sephora. I told him that we couldn't go in because I didn't have any money to spend so what does he do but go in. So I ended up buying a perfume he picked out for me called Love by Harajukulovers. She is so cute. Dressed in her winter clothes....
Here is another purchase we made....The Smashbox Wish eye wish palette. It was 44.00 but the proceeds go to the Children's Miracle Network and Smashbox will match 1.00 for every purchase up to 25,000.00. So not a bad deal, buying making and helping children!!
I have always liked Smashbox and thought this would be a good collection.
The colors go by number. The bottom row is there cream eye liners which are really nice and stay on the waterline really well. It even has the look book which gives you eye looks and what colors to apply and where to apply...Very neat!!!
Included in this set is their newest photo finish lid primer. I tried it and ended up really loving it so I decided to save it til I use up my others. That primer runs 20.00 I do believe. It is flesh colored so you wouldn't even have to use a highlight color.
So this was the purchases I made that I wasn't suppose to make. I didn't photo the perfume because it is hidden because my daughter will use it....
Any one buy anything holiday yet?

Let me introduce you to Jessie

Here she is!!! The rootiness tootiness cowgirl ever. Jules Danielle as Jessie the cowgirl from Toy Story 2. Check out the pink boots...She picked them out and they are the real thing....Real boots that cost 36.00. Hey she loves them. This was the best costume ever...Pretty darn pricey but it fit her perfect and she did get to use it at a Halloween costume birthday party...I did get my moneys worth. She is even wearing it today. Boots too...I thought she was going to sleep in those boots. She wears them with her pjs. I didn't have many kids this year. It was quite cold here and windy. Too bad. Also here is her pumpkin. Mind you I let her draw it all out and I cut it out following her drawing. It looks like a kid did it...She goes to a Lutheran school so granted we don't celebrate Halloween but we did have a fall festival party. She told me she wanted to do a Christian pumpkin. I was like how do you do that and she drew it out. I guess they talked about it in Chapel on Wednesday. So the eyes are stars and the nose is a cross and the mouth is a heart and there is a long story behind it. I thought it was a really great idea for a 6 yr old. I hope every one had a great Halloween!!!
