Mondays Look.....

Monday's and I don't like each other too much so I decided to do something easy today...I haven't used purples in a while so I used them today!!!  Neutrals have been what I have been using lately...yes I know I love color but that bohemian hippie look is on my plate lately....Laid back and easy!!!

To blend I used Lancome Positive shadow which is a neutral matte shade
Highlight to inner eyes Mac's Gesso
Lined top lash line with Mac's grease paint stick in B from the DSquared collection...it is a blue
Bottom lash line Mac's grease paint stick in Dirty which is a goldish brown and smudged it

I ended up liking this look...very easy and a little dramatic at the same time.  The lip pencil is so pretty.  I love Nyx's lip products......Hope you have a good day!!!

Shoes, Shoes. marvelous shoes!!!

Let me start off my saying I have always have had a shoe fetish.  I love them but never have really bought anything that I really like but all of a sudden I have shoes that I have always wanted to wear.

The first pair is a pair of Via Spiga Espadrille sandals.   These were on sale at Nordstroms and I just loved them.  I received them last night and wore them today and they are a very nice comfortable shoe believe it or not.  This is the most expensive shoe I have ever owned....

The second pair is a great wedge from the Fergie line.  I love her style.  Always so glamorous and her shoes are great.  These were actually my Easter shoes...

This last pair is a pair I got with a 50.00 gift card that I won over at the blog Fansea Pants.  This was to be used at the website shoesgotsole.com.  These are a cute pair of sandals from Aerosole and they are very cushiony and comfortable.

I actually blame the uprising in shoes on my New York beauty bloggers that I follow...They are such influences but a lot of fun.  I realized I can get away with wearing more girly things and feel really good in them.  So I hope you enjoy my shoes....You never know I may be getting some more......

Easy look with spring colors

Jenna over at Stardust used these colors in her look yesterday and I  loved it and I actually have the colors on hand for a change.  Usually I see a look someone does and I don't have all the colors to dup it.  Keep in mind that Jenna is talented and beautiful and I am still learning the ropes but the look came out lovely...

Sparkle Fiend is a very pretty color.  Very sparkly.  I think I did a good job capturing the sparkle in the picture...This look was so easy to do and took no time.  I am starting to get away from the more complicated combos.  Less is more sometimes so I am trying that!!!!

very dark eye....

I wanted to use sun n clouds today over a black base and also wanted to use purple too.  I haven't done anything dark in a long time and this came out extreme.  I do like it but it is edgy...So here is what I did for this sharp eye look...

It looks really different in natural light of course.  Does anyone else like Mac's greasepaint sticks?  I just ordered a new one in Dirty.  Can't wait to try it.   I really love Sun n Clouds.  It is a very unique and very pretty color.  I was wondering what it would look like with a yellow base.  Thinking I may give that a try!!!

Feeling a little Kookie today

I was really wanting to try a bright matte pink and I had remembered I had Aromaleigh Kookie that would work great.  So I used my Aromaleigh colors today.  Turned out so pretty.

I really like the Nyx shadow base.  I think it was 6.00 and I don't seem to have a problem with it.  It acts alot like a Mac paint pot to me.  I haven't seen any creasing but I do make sure to really blend it and let it set a minute before applying product.  I hope everyone enjoys the day!!!!

Nyx Shangri La shadows

So yesterday I stopped by Ulta for what I don't know.  I don't need anything.  I ended up getting some NYX products.  Flesh colored eyeshadow base, Shangri La trio and a lip pencil in pink nude.  Here is what I did with it today...

Nyx shadow base
Nyx yellow jumbo crayon applied to lid
inner corner of eye I used the yellow shadow
rest of lid I used the orange shadow
I highlighted with the really light orange color
I then went under the brow bone and inner eye with Glamour Doll Eye Disco White
Lined upper lash line with UD Zero pencil
Bottom I went over with yellow Jumbo pencil then applied Glamour Doll Eye Shamrock color and smudged into the corner of eye with the yellow color from the trio

I spritzed my face with Mac Charged water to set my makeup....

I first applied the powder foundation with a brush then went over with the sponge and then blended really well with the brush again.  I have a hard time using a sponge.  I just think of them as dirty...Just me...I do like this powder foundation.  It is pressed and not messy at all....I read a lot of great reviews on this product....I hope you enjoy your day and thanks for stopping!!!

More Spring from Stardust!!!

It is so nice here today finally...80's today and tomorrow and then it cools back down to 60's.  Being in Illinois we could still get snow again this month but hopefully it is long gone.  Got some work done outside and things are shaping up...I am using another Stardust Spring sample.  This one is green and I am a lover of green.  Here is what I put together....
